The Coalition for Affordable Ingredients (CAI) is a coalition of American manufacturers and farmers across the personal care, household cleaning, food, and dairy nutrition industries that depend on certified vegetable-based fatty acids imported from Indonesia and Malaysia as essential, irreplaceable inputs in their production processes.

 

We are united in opposing AD/CVD petitions filed by Vantage Specialty Chemicals that, if acted upon, would impose devastating tariffs on these imports and cause lasting harm to U.S. manufacturers, farmers, consumers, and jobs. Pushing significant price increases on to the US consumer.
